Mary Magdalene
Age 87, born in Whiteville, NC, and a resident of Dayton, OH, the majority of her life, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. She retired from St. Elizabeth
Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she served on the Usher Board. She was preceded in death by her parents, Avirl and Thelma Louise Freeman; husband, John
Willie Pearson; brother, Buddy Coleman. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, John, Donald (Beverly) and Gregory (Robin) Pearson; sister, Mary Bellamy; grandchildren, Dwone Alexander, Gregory II, Chloé and Nick Pearson, Dominique Higginbotham, Mercedes (Quintin) Hicks, Meagan Payne; great-grandchildren, Gregory Pearson III, Kaiden Higginbotham; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside service 12-noon, Wednesday, June 2, at
Shiloh Park Cemetery, 5479 Philadelphia Dr. Arrangements

My childhood memories of Mrs. Pearson was a soft-spoken very nice lady. I remember her participation at Highview School & her beautiful smile. RIHP May God continue to bless the Pearson family!!
