We send our heartfelt condolences to all of George's beloved family. We first met George many years ago at GM, Delco Moraine. He was also our UK buddy at many Greater Dayton UK Alumni Association meetings, KY Derby events as well as basketball at Rupp Arena and football at the stadium. He loved to have lunch with his local UK friends at BBQ 7 in Englewood. To visit his home was comparable to a UK museum and a fantasy land Christmas Village. He loved to entertain family and friends. Always had great stories and made his home feel like it was yours. We loved him dearly. We will miss him forever. May God grant our beloved friend eternal peace. Your wife Joy will be elated to see you in heaven.

You were more than just a man, more than A friend, more than just an Uncle. When my Daddy passed. He asked you to take care of his family. Being the Great man that you were you took it ten steps more. You became my FATHER!
You walked me down the isle, talked when I needed that, you always have a shoulder to cry on. Your house was my home when you took me in at the age of 16. I asked you to give me rules that must be followed you looked at me like I was crazy. But, everything you and Aunt Joyce did for me was out of love.
I loved both of you more than words can express. Thank you for you kindness with my heart. Thank you for giving me way to the best husband ever, thank you for the father daughter dance at my wedding with tears in both of our eyes for the man who couldn´t be there, mine included the man that was.
I was glad to play a small role in your life. The weekly talks. the Christmases oh and the food we´d eat on Wednesdays.
I loved you so. Be happy I know you are and I´m rejoicing for you. Even though I might some tears that´s only because I wanted you to be able one last time to take you to eat we had another place picked out.
Everyone knows me I do not look at the shell laying in the coffin. I want to remember you face the first time I was able to take you some place you´d never been! That was Tough. I´ll never forget you saying that you could not get used to not paying the tab. Only once because of your stacks of Olive Garden cards you were great full on another Olive Garden fan in me that time did we allow you to use your cards you said you could never spend that many and asked if I wanted them. I said no we´re gonna use them.
I was an honor to be placed in your life. Jerry and I loved you so much and so hard. It truly does feel like Gods getting you the best part of this whole world! Kisses and hugs an we will see each other again.

My heart is so heavy to hear of George´s death. I haven´t seen George since we moved to Tennessee in 2015, but I have such fond memories of him as a stalwart supporter of the University of Kentucky Alumni Club and all Wildcat sports, especially basketball and football. His home was like a shine to the Big Blue! He was such a kind and generous man. RIP my friend

Im so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I loved George. He was such a sweet man always full of love for his girls, son in law, Keith. He always shared memories with me of your mama. I loved coming by for his Christmas open house and seeing his Christmas spirit and his beloved Ky wildcats office. Its comforting to know that he is reunited with his wife and standing up straight before his lord and savior. May God comfort you in the days ahead.
