So sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I worked for Jim from 1972 - 1974 in the Short Range Attack Missile (SRAM) program and we stayed in touch over the years. He was instrumental in my 28 year Air Force career with his support and advice, some of it teasing of course. He was the glue that kept many activities together, including the alumni from the SRAM. It was always comforting knowing Jim was available in any time of need. My prayers and sympathy to Nancy, Tim and Mary for strength and peace. May Jim's soul rest eternally in God's loving arms.

I'm deeply saddened by Jim's passing. He was a dear friend, a respected Air Force colleague, and a fellow Rotarian. We shared our love for country, family and sports. He was a proud Annapolis graduate and an outstanding Air Force Senior Executive. We often discussed the many memories we had attending Flyers games at UD Arena. I'll miss him very much. God Bless Jim and the entire Gallagher family. John Nauseef, Estill Springs, TN.

It is always a shock when a friend & colleague of long-standing is lost. I last encountered him on a ZOOM meeting a couple of months ago. He reported recent health challenges which caused him to suspend his tennis games, but assured the group of his progress toward recovery. His drive & positive attitude was legendary. He was a great patriot, outstanding community servant & solid informed citizen.

I was shocked and saddened to see the story of Jim's passing this morning. Jim was ONE GREAT GUY!! We were colleagues for a time at Wright State and stayed in touch with occasional lunches. His strong, positive, outgoing personality was always a blessing. God rest his soul; I will miss him
