Age 82, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45416, with Rev. JD Grisby officiating. Walk through visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment: West Memory Gardens Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at

To Adrienne, Monty, her siblings, children and the entire family I send my deepest condolences. Ms. Bass was like a mother to me every summer that I visited Dayton. She and Adrienne made me a sister/daughter and treated me as such. The love and joy they both gave, still fills me today. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family and to experience the love of your mom.❤ Remember that God is with you now and always. “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
