From Dayton age 84 died January 27, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Kurpe.
Survived by two sons Jeff (Bess) Kurpe, and Jason Kurpe of
Dayton; three grandchildren and countless friends and
family. Newcomer North
Chapel will be handling the services at a later date.

Capt. Big John was a legend, a tough but fair friend. Memories of vacations and Erie fishing trips were the best ! Our sincere condolences Jeff and Jason. RIP Big John.
