I had the privilege of knowing and working with Mary Kay as a fellow school nurse for many many years. We were the East side nurses. She had that rare combination of strength and caring. She always advocated for the needs of her students and families. We shared so much over the years. I shall never forget her and I carry her in my thoughts and in my heart.

I only knew your mother from the MANY ILR classes I took with her - she was a wonderful woman - and student - in so many ways. I will surely miss her insightful comments and intelligent questions in poetry, prose and science classes we took together.

Your mother was a beautiful
Lady who was an angel on earth. I dearly loved her.
May her love continue to grow in your hearts, and may memories stay close. Love, hugs and prayers to all of you. Love, Annie & Dave Macke
