Dawkins Jr. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 27 years (together for 35 yrs), Lorraine Dawkins whom she
affectionately called Big
Daddy; children Tyler Dawkins, Tevin (A'lea) Dawkins of GA, and Brittney Kosak; future grandson Kylen Louis Dawkins; his mother Sandra Turner; sister Elizabeth Dawkins of Dayton, OH; brother Emmanuel (Tasha) Dawkins of MD; two nephews, Sean Treadwell and Emmanuel Dawkins Jr.; mother-in-law
Tanya (Renee) Jackson; and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends. Private Ceremony. Thomas Funeral Home, Dayton, OH.

The Spirit Lifts You from Grief to Life.
Our lives are doomed to death, but called to life
The pattern shows this day the Lord has made -
To find a fellowship from days of strife
In those with hearts where hope has failed to fade.
We wait. We pray, and faith remains, that, past
Death´s absence and the grief, fresh Spirit comes
To grasp the gifts that satisfy, that last -
That deep faith, formed from your hurt heart crumbs,
As nourishment - the bread of life - arrives
Now kneaded, ovened through a loss endured,
You find new miracles of life- friend-lives
Who hug your cracked but healing soul-not cured
But now transformed to wholesome peacefulness-
A caring and courageous happiness!

My heart goes out to the family. I remember when June and Lorraine first met. What a blessed life together, ended too soon. Prayers and hugs abundantly.
