I first met Mrs. Rice June 1979 at Community Hospital. I was a new graduate nurse and I had the privilege of having her for my nurse manager in CCU! She and a few other great nurses took me under their wings and helped me become a strong nurse and patient advocate! She became a friend and I always looked forward to her Christmas letters she sent every year for several years, after she retired. I had the privilege of working with her daughter Marsha and I also was blessed to know her daughter Theresa. Another blessing was I worked with her granddaughter Michele and then got to watch her become an awesome nurse like her grandmother. I know the family misses her, and I pray for comfort and great memories to be recalled, but I also know that she is with Lord Jesus and that He told her: "Well done good and faithful servant!" Lord, give her a big hug from me! Thank you Mrs. Marjorie Rice!
