I first met Mrs. Rice June 1979 at Community Hospital. I was a new graduate nurse and I had the privilege of having her for my nurse manager in CCU! She and a few other great nurses took me under their wings and helped me become a strong nurse and patient advocate! She became a friend and I always looked forward to her Christmas letters she sent every year for several years, after she retired.
