I keep thinking about Kevin and there is one story I want to share that shows he was more concerned about others than himself. One night we were driving on West 3rd Street in Dayton when suddenly there was a man standing to our left exchanging gunfire across the street with a guy on our right. Kevin immediately hit the floor and grabbed me trying to pull me down. I pushed him back because I was driving a friends 1965 GTO convertible and my only thought was that I had to get the car out of there where his perspective from his Viet Nam experience was to save our lives. As usual he was right on priorities. We did make it out of the situation unscathed and I drove to a bar on Brown Street called Timothy's where it took me a long time to calm him down. Kevin kept saying "I was looking for my gun" and then I realized we had totally different perspectives on that potentially disastrous situation based on our real life experiences. Thanks again Kevin. RIP. Your friend Chris.
