So sad to hear of Steve's passing. I also met him through the local Meetup group and agree he was a great trivia partner - practically every Tuesday at Romer's prior to the pandemic.
He was a quiet guy, with a dry sense of humor and he was always up for group walks/hikes. Our paths also crossed at the UD Office of Lifelong Learning, where Steve shared his knowledge by teaching a class now and then, usually about an aspect of Ohio or Dayton history. Many people will miss you, Steve.

Steve was a member of our trivia group, such an intelligent guy and so much fun to joke around with. The world is a better place because he was here, may he rest in peace. Going to miss you, buddy.

Steve was such a wonderful guy. Such a treasure to have known. I met him with meetup and found a true treasure in getting to know him. I teased him about being boogey woogey Steve as he was always on the dance floor. Really got to know him at trivia. You and your vast knowledge and friendship will be missed. Love your friend.

Steve was a friend of mine. We met through our meet up group. He hosted a few meetups. His favorite was the Dayton Celtic Festival. He liked to hike.We went on a group trip to Gatlinburg several years ago. We spent many hours playing team trivia. It was nice to have him on your team, he new a lot about European history and geography. I have not seen him since before Covid. He will be missed. Take care buddy. My condolences to all his family and friends.
