I first met Doris when I returned to work at Wright-Patt from a vacation in the late 1980s. She was sitting at my desk which did not make me happy to find a stranger in my place. After being introduced to her as one of our new front office staff, our friendship began. Doris was one of the most wonderful people I ever met. I don't care what was going on, Doris was there to help out or even just to listen to anyone who needed to talk. She always had a smile on her face which was very contagious and was a confidant to many of us over the years. She was devoted to her son Kurt and what ever dog she had living with her. She touched so many lives and I know that she has been reunited with Bill and her family. She will be missed!
