I didn't know Max very we. Both worked for GM Parts but in different zones cincinnati and Memphis respectively. Bur we spent a lot of time together at regional meetings. After I retired, we moved to Oxford to be near children and grandchildren. I called Max but he told me that due to a fall his memory was bad - he asked me not call again, I waited several months before trying again. Got the same response and he hung up on me. I didn't try again until July 15th when I found out he had passed away..I wanted to express my regrets with the hope he did suffer. I wish we were able to visit.

Please accept our deepest condolences. I was a classmate of Max at St. Ann's and graduated with him from Catholic High. I have great memories of those shared times and few times we saw each other afterwards.
