ADAM TARR

February 26, 2025

I had the priviledge of getting to know the Cox Family back in the 80's when I went to school with Kim, who became a very close friend and helped me in many ways, as well as Gary and Sharon. The course of my life changed for the better as a result of meeting the Cox family and all that they did for me. If it were not for them my life would have been drastically different. It would take me a long time to explain why. I cannot thank them enough, and am eternally grateful for them.

I am just finding out about Gary's passing as for some reason the Cox's came to my mind and I thought I'd look them up. Lost touch with them after they left Maine and from time to time have wondered how they all were. The reason I am in Maine is because of the Cox's, this where I met Michele, and where we started our own family, which wouldn't have happened with the Cox family.

I have great memories of them all. Some hilarious ones of Gary who was quite a man and a great father to Kim. He was a great father figure period, and his example helped to guide me in learning how to be a good father to my children and a good husband to my wife.

As imperfect as I am, I regret losing touch with them as they meant so much to me and were so good to me. I hope to one day touch base with them again. I left my email, feel free to contact me. I hope and pray you are all well.

Love, very much!
