COL Bennett served his country in USAF in a top leadership role. He lead this high tech Black business, Systems & Applied Sciences Corp Dayton office after his retirement leading that branch to excel in support of aeronautics and computer systems at Wright Patterson AFB. A professional which inspired his employees and others, being associated with him was rewarding and highly respectful.

My world tilted a bit when I learned of Walt´s passing. He was my mentor and friend throughout my early career in defense contracting. I still quote his wisdom to others now and again. He holds a special place in my life and heart, and I know he will be missed.
My condolences to Elisa and their daughters. May your sorrow soon turn into happy memories.
