I am very sorry for your loss. Tom was briefly part of our local Toastmaster's club and lost touch when he moved to Dayton. He made us laugh more often than not. He was a great guy who was willing to share his gifts of observation and caring. He will be missed very much, I know.

Tom was always serious about news writing and reporting but his newsroom demeanor was friendly, humorous and sincere.
Please take care. May your memories together bring you peace.

Very sorry to learn of Tom's passing, and my prayers to his family. He and I worked together at The Plain Dealer during the 1970's, and we stayed in touch for several years after I left the newspaper in 1978. Lost touch after he moved to the Dayton area. He was bright, honest, talented and dedicated to his profession. I will forever remember him as a good friend during our younger years.
