I knew Jack since I was a child. Both he and my father, Frank Parenti, worked many years at Standard Register together. They used to always joke that they were really related, someone must have just gotten the last letter of their names mixed up. I also remember often seeing Jack ushering at St. Henry's. He always had a big smile and a hug ready for me. My sincere sympathies to all the family for the loss of their dear father and grandfather.

Grandpa Jack taught me how to grow the best tomatoes. "You gotta plant them deep," he said. One of my favorite memories with him was taking yard debris to the dump. I sat in the middle while my brother Max sat in the passenger seat. It was my job to shift the truck. Every shift was a little nerve-racking. Afterwards, we would get ice cream and eat prosciutto sandwiches! He also taught me that a Snickers Bar "is healthy for you". Thank you for the wonderful memories.

It was my first Daytona 500 Race and Jack was the host. He had the whole day planned out, the weather was perfect, and we had a great time. I´ve been hooked on NASCAR ever since. God bless the best father-in-law ever.

A leader at Standard Register, who was always available to answer questions and share his wisdom and knowledge. GOD be with JOHN, today and in his eternal rest in GOD's Kingdom. AMEN

Jack and I worked together for many decades at Standard Register. He was an inspiration to many, a strong leader and a dear friend. My prayers are with his treasured children.
Rest in peace JJ.
