Jeff was a great lawyer, fine fellow and a good friend to my younger brother, Allan Turner, when Jeff coached him in Gray Y (YMCA) football through the Northside YMCA program in Atlanta....Jeff made a great impression on Allan and our family including my late father, attorney Jack Porter Turner.....The world, humanity and civilization have lost a great friend and contributor......Nelson Goss Turner

His was a beautiful life lived boldly! It was a big day for my 5th grade self when the Davises moved in down the street. I fell in love with the whole family. I still am. My heart is bursting imagining Jeff´s heavenly reunion with his son and I know without hesitation that Big Jeff´s beloved boy has already introduced him to mine. Sending much love to the family and gratitude for the life of Jefferson Davis, Jr.

I first met Jefferson when I was a camper at YMCA Camp Pioneer. I also met Kimbrough at about the same time and we saw each other from time to time over the years when, as a young lawyer, my office was in downtown Atlanta. I admired Jeff and Kimbrough for their gracious, intelligent and thoughtful ways. My condolences to Jeff's family.
