Age 78, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory, 4520 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45416. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Bennie was an excellent long-time neighbor and, more importantly, he was my friend. We talked regularly and helped each other with yard chores, etc. Bennie was a former school bus driver for Dayton City Schools and later drove a bus for his Church for several years. Bennie's Church/Congregationvery was very important to him and he loyally attended until his health worsened. Bennie was a standup Christian guy and I will miss him.
