I just found out my best friend Alvin died. I first meet Alvin in the 4 th grade. We had many adventures the 22 years we ran with each other. We played basketball down at the Park religiously. With Alvin not helping me rebound while calling for the ball to shoot again. LOL...Once it got dark-Alvin couldn´t miss. And in darkness now he won´t miss. For death. It´s just a constant illusion. We haven´t been in contact much after I moved away but in my heart I always remembered the great times we shared. So God speed , Alvin. We shall meet again. But this time let me shoot some also:)
Your Friend always, Michael Houston

To the Jackson Family. I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you. My fondest memory of Alvin was he was always smiling no matter what the event was. The last time I was in his company, he and Sammy was at the Cracker Barrell as usual he had the largest smile when he saw me and Sister Huntley. I will miss him dearly.
