Very sad and shocked to find out about Jack´s passing. Just a great friend. Football teammate at Fairview and baseball buddy in the good old days in Dayton.

Just heard about this on Facebook. coach Cox was a great help to me in high school. I was an 85 pounds, shy and not much direction as a freshmen at Fairview Hich School. One day Coach Cox approached me in the hallway and asked how much I weighed. I told him and he said you are coming to practice tonight. I didn't even know what wrestling was but it turned out that with wrestling and Coach Cox, I made it through high school. Without those two, I would have really had a rough time. So I really do have fond memories of Coach Cox and what a good man he was. RIP.

Jack and Nancy were my friends for many years. I loved them both. I shall truly miss them. Jack was a wonderful man who loved his family, his students that he taught and me. My life was all the more richer because of their love. Rest in Peace and kiss Nancy for me.

Prayers and condolences to Joanie, Becky and John and their families. "Coach" Jack was more than a wrestling coach to me, so much more. Lessons he never knew he was teaching me that I have carried throughout my life. Summer school drivers Ed. With Tina Abele, Mr. Cox letting us drive down near Cincinnati for breakfast at Bob Evans. He has left unforgettable memories in everyone who net him.
