Today I learned of Larry´s passing. We shared many happy moments together and I will miss him. Sailing, riding bikes, touring lots of backroads, always driving the speed limit. He taught me to do crossword puzzles and my daughters also.
Larry was very proud of his family, and frequently updated me on their accomplishments.

Larry was willing to answer questions when I would ask about his interests and accomplishments in his life, but even at the end, when he was in pain, he would ask me questions about my life, and he would notice others. Larry was kind, and not self-absorbed; he was interested in the other people in his life and their accomplishments: his grandchildren's educational feats, Jaimie's talents in flower arranging and organization, his son's and sister's careers, and so forth. What a great example he became.
