Today I learned of Larry´s passing. We shared many happy moments together and I will miss him. Sailing, riding bikes, touring lots of backroads, always driving the speed limit. He taught me to do crossword puzzles and my daughters also. Larry was very proud of his family, and frequently updated me on their accomplishments.

Condolences and deepest sympathy to Jaimie, David and their family. It´s hard to loose a Dad. Remember he loved you all deeply. May the good memories sustain you.

What I remember about Mr.Larry My Guy Smith is everything I ever knew about him his ability to fight thru so much yet kept his sense of humor thru it all his love and appreciation for his beautiful family and their success his teaching he would not allow me to talk uneducated around him he'll correct me or wait till corrected myself our long talks hospital visit watching sports and movies together his love for sweet tea anything sweet for that matter sailing, guiness beer, burberry cologne,...

Larry was willing to answer questions when I would ask about his interests and accomplishments in his life, but even at the end, when he was in pain, he would ask me questions about my life, and he would notice others. Larry was kind, and not self-absorbed; he was interested in the other people in his life and their accomplishments: his grandchildren's educational feats, Jaimie's talents in flower arranging and organization, his son's and sister's careers, and so forth.
