Norm hired me as company attorney in 1978 to work with him at American Agronomics and we were together just about every day until he left the company around 1985. I had only graduated law school a year earlier, and to say he got my career started and pointed in the right direction would be an understatement; he was my full time business mentor and part time psychologist. I have thought about him often in the years since; he was one of the rare few who could make sense of this crazy world and do it with a sense of humor and proportion. I will miss him.
