Nita and I offer our sympathy and prayers to Susanne and the remainder of the family. I believe I can speak for the remaining cousins in that I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge Bernie as the eldest cousin and being a shining example for us younger cousins to follow as we would grow to adulthood. Always kind and generous with his time as we grew up, he made you feel important even as a youngster. Georgia and he would be sure to include us in memorable activities. To the end it was just like Bernie to provide us the privilege of meeting Susanne as they began their life together. Rest in Peace Bernie, you have provided us an excellent example throughout your life.
