Pierce, Danny John

Danny John Pierce, 76, passed away December 6, 2024 at home in hospice care.

He is survived by children-Keven Pierce, Kimberley Halsey (Rick), and stepson Greg Brown. He is survived by grandchildren-Jordyn Pierce, Kayla Simms (Pierce), and Skylynn; Daniel Halsey and Renee Halsey; Alex Brown and Jessie Brown. He is survived by great-grandchildren Aden Pierce and Ella Pierce. He is survived by niece Shelley Fischer, who he thought of as a sister. He is survived by special friends, Ron and Becky Roark, Debbie Pollard and family, and Charity Kendrick; we thank them for their love and support. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Pierce and his siblings Richard Pierce, Timothy Pierce, David Pierce, and James Pierce.

He was born July 24, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. He went to Wilbur Wright High School. He worked at Frigidaire and, then, General Motors Truck and Bus from where he retired. In recent years, he loved going to Waffle House for daily visits; we thank them for their kindness and service.

He donated his remains to medical science.
