Nancy McConaughey Obituary
Nancy L. McConaughey, age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Ayden Healthcare in Greenville. She was born on February 27, 1941, in Lawrence, Indiana to the late Clarence and Hazel (Cummings) McConaughey. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia McConaughey, and Lois McConaughey. Nancy is survived by her son, James Edwards of Middletown, Ohio; her grandchildren, Michael Edwards and Nichole Edwards; and her sister, Marcia McConaughey. Nancy lived 3/4 of her life in the Middletown Ohio area, going to high school there, working there, and raising her son there. She loved living life and doing it by her own rules. Nancy enjoyed gardening and preparing and cooking the produce she grew. Animals, of all sizes and shapes, had a special place in Nancy's heart. Horses, cats, dogs...even a pet raccoon, she loved and cherished them all. Per Nancy's request, there will be no services.
