Pamer (Smith), Janet Louise

Janet Louise (Smith) Pamer, age 83 of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on December 10, 2024. She was born October 9, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Russell and Emma (Corbin) Smith. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph Pamer, children, Ralph (Loretta) Pamer, Sherri (Dennis) Dunsmuir, Joe (Tracy) Pamer, Darlene (Rod) Kaffenbarger, Chrisy (Joe) Stanaway, and Lora (Craig) Loffer, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Linda, Carol, and Wanda Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry, Ernie, Roger, and Dale Smith, and sister-in-law, Faye Smith. Janet was a faithful member of the Possum Road Church of God for over 60 years where she enjoyed working in the nursery, teaching Sunday school, and singing solos and in the church choir. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and children. A devoted Christian woman, Janet's family was always her top priority. She found the greatest pleasure in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Janet will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her for the last 83 years. Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Possum Road Church of God. Burial to follow at Enon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Janet's honor.
