William Kurrek Obituary
KURREK, Willian Allen "Bill", age 79, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Kettering Main Campus. Bill founded B & B Fencing in 1984 and retired after 44 years. He enjoyed racing cars, was a novel billiard inventor, enjoyed traveling, water sports, playing pool classic cars and entertaining.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Seeburn Gibbs; and mother-in-law, Nora Tackett; and sister, Cheryl Henne. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Bonnie; daughter, Amy Kurrek; granddaughter, Kendall Kurrek; sons, Brad (Nellie) Kurrek & Ryan Kurrek; grandchildren, Alecia (Seth), Brittany (Jimmy), Kristen (Jourdan), Micah (Sean); 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie & Donnie; honorary daughter, Dawn; honorary sister, Betty Sue; and many nieces & nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 1:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025 at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Pastor Dave Helsey officiating. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Thursday.

Bill was one of a kind type of a person. Him and I along with Sonny Simpson and his employees back in 1999 went to the Daytona 500 and had a great time. I'll never forget you my friend.
