Robert Kash Obituary
Robert E. Kash, 90, of Monroe, passed away on December 20, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born on June 9, 1934 in Wolfe Co., Kentucky to Otis & Lillian (Dean) Kash. Bob served our country in the US Army at Fort Knox for 2 years and worked for Sorg Paper Company as their Purchasing Manager for 27 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Middletown YMCA, where he worked as their bookkeeper, and was a member of the High Point Lodge in Monroe, where he served as their Past Secretary and Worshipful Master. Bob was also a successful triathlete, where he always won his age group, he participated in the Pacific/Atlantic Coast Tour (PAC) and the Race Across America (RAM) and was also an avid golfer. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mabel Sue Kash and Maggie Lou Porter; brother, William Dean Kash and his half-brother, Arthur Garrett Kash. He is survived by his daughter, Dianna Lee Kash; his niece, Lisa Dean Adams (Jerry) Reeve; his former wife, Leah Rae Pelfrey and his close friend, Kathy Imfeld. Visitation will be on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 12:00 noon-1:00 pm at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) Middletown, OH with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 pm. Committal Services will be at the Dean Kash Cemetery in Wolfe Co., Kentucky on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 12:00 noon. Please sign the guest book at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com

Condolences to Bob's family and friends. Bob and I ran a lot of miles together and were friends. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him.
