Mary Wright Obituary
Mary R. Wright, age 90 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Spring Hills – Middletown Assisted Living Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 24, 1934, in Pleasant Hill, OH, the daughter of the late Robert & Dorothy (Swearingin) Hile. Mary was a graduated from West Carrollton High School Class of 1952, and Miami Valley School of Nursing in 1955. She retired from Miami Valley Hospital after 39 years of service. Mary was devoted member of Miamisburg First Church of God, and to her church in Kettering. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Paul Wright. She leaves behind her children Daniel Wright and wife Sherry, Pamela Lynn and husband Scott, Eric Wright and wife Jennifer, her sister Shirley Richards and husband Jack, 10 grandchildren Donnie Braden and wife Angela, Jeremy Braden, Christy Jackson, Carole Kinne and husband Rob, Christopher Rhoden and wife Krystle, Danny Wright and wife Susanna, Elisa Wright and (Matt), Evan Wright, Erica Wright and Ethan Wright, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Thanks for making my life so worth living and full of blessings. Private Services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. Expressions of Sympathy, Love, and Thinking of You cards may be sent to The Family of Mrs. Mary R. Wright, C/O Swart Funeral Home, 207 E. Central Ave., West Carrollton, Ohio 45449.

Mary was blessed to be a blessing to everyone she came in contact with. She was the true Christian witness and I am honored to have known her. I didn't have a spiritual mother, Mary was my spiritual mother. In fact, I called her Mother Mary. She always reminded me to never stop praying. I will always remember her prayers and advise. The last time Ray and I visited her was a blessing to talk and pray together. Mary will be sincerely missed, but the angels in heaven are rejoicing! Lifting prayers for the family. Her legacy will go on in everyone she met and the lives she touched.
