Walker, Thomas Leroy

Thomas Leroy Walker, age 84, of Franklin passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Greene County, Ohio on January 28, 1940, the son of the late Harold and Nellie (Young) Walker. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Judy; his siblings, Frances Hagwood, Betty Steele, Eddie Walker, Patricia Arno; and a grandson, Quinn Thomas Weiss.

Thomas is survived by his five children, Mike (Michele) Walker, Tammy Pendleton, Jeff (Kelly) Walker, Tina (Bradley) Shell, Tonya (Kevin) Weiss; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a member of Berachah Church and enjoyed nature, hiking in the woods, canoeing, camping, and reading his Bible. He spent numerous years in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout.

He loved Jesus, his family, and the great outdoors. His love for God has (and always will be) passed down to his kids and grandkids for generations to come.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Berachah Church, Trenton-Franklin Road Campus, 6830 Trenton-Franklin Road with Pastors Jimmy Tinch, Sr. and Lamar Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Woodhill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
