Lloyd, Carol Ann

Lloyd, Carol Ann, 75, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday December 15, 2024 at home. She was born October 06, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Ward and Charlotte (Casad) Lloyd. Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Robert Smith; brothers, Alan Lloyd of Columbus, Ohio, Gary (Judy) Lloyd of Springfield, Ohio; nephew, Ryan (Courtney) Lloyd; and great nieces, Grace and Lilly Lloyd of Beavercreek, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Charlotte Lloyd. She was a graduate of Springfield North High School, earning National Honor Society membership. She earned an electrical engineering associate degree from Clark State and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from University of Phoenix. She retired from Navistar (IHC) in Springfield after 20 years of service. After moving to Idaho in 1987, she was employed by EG&G where Carol received special commendations for her work on a military communications system for Desert Shield, as well as other projects. While employed by Weyerhaeuser, Carol and their team transitioned the company to the SAP ERP system. For the last third of Carol's life, she was stricken with progressive multiple sclerosis. She fought hard but respected all that helped her. Hers was a life well lived. A private family gathering was held in Boise, Idaho. Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, www.mymsaa.org.
