Day, Jerry Wayne

Jerry Wayne Day, age 81, of Carlisle passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 5, 1943, the son of the late Charles R. and Mary Hazel (Payton) Day. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Kathryn Ann, on 11/26/2018 and two brothers, Allan and Darryl Day. Jerry is survived by his three daughters, Tammy (Dave) Lanoie, Amy Matthews and Jerri Martin; 10 siblings, Ann Day, Brenda Gibbs, Debbie Metcalf, Jenny Riley, Dennis Day, Alice Cornett, Deloris Day, James Day, Sonny Day and Robert Day. He is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry enjoyed hunting, weekends with Rowen and Kaiden, fishing and Kayaking. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
