Pud and I attended Possum School and graduated together from Shawnee in 1963. We played basketball together at Possum and Shawnee. I no longer live in Springfield but saw him at several class reunions over the years.
I'll always remember him as a really good guy. He was easy to talk with, fun to be around and kind-hearted. Rest in peace, Pud. It was a blessing to know you.

I have not lived in Springfield in 21 years but I remember well my tax man and card club member. Sorry to see of John's passing and sorry that we have not been in contact. Larry Bemesderfer

Dear John: My late husband and I met you more than 35 years ago. Our relationship began as professional and evolved into an enduring friendship. You comforted us when our son died, and you comforted me when my husband died. I have learned that pain and loss are part of life but knowing this does not make saying goodbye to those we love easier. I feel honored to have known you, will think of you often and miss you always. Until we meet again, rest in peace my dear friend. Sue Montgomery
