Edna Louise NavesThe funeral for Edna Louise Naves, 84, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Craft officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Naves died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Athens Convalescent Center. She was a member of First Church of Athens and was a retired beautician. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie “Steve” Naves; and one daughter, Wanda McAllister. She is survived by two sons, Joe Naves and Larry Naves, both of Athens; one daughter, Janice Clem of Prospect, Tenn.; three sisters, Inez Putman and Sue Scroggins, both of Athens, and Nancy Harris of Madison; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.Grandsons and great-grandsons will be pallbearers.
