My regrets go out to all of Charlie's family; I was deeply saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. He was a kind, intelligent and caring soul; truly a quality individual. Even though Charlie was many years retired from The Travelers, he made it a point to maintain contact during the holidays and with his annual luncheon visits back in Hartford. It was always a joy to reconnect with him and to compare travel experiences. May you find peace, hope and love to help you through this difficult time.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of Charlie's Family. I just want you to know that he was truly a remarkable man. No matter what, Charlie was always down to earth and concerned with people. He was a fair and gentle person. I owe a lot of thanks to Charlie, I will miss him. May fond and fun memories fill your emptiness.

My heartfelt sympthy goes out to Charlie's entire family which was his number one priority. I worked for Charlie for several years here @ Travelers - he was truly a remarkable man and wonderful boss. After Charlie retired, he would visit us here in the office once a year - his visits meant so much to all of us - he always said that we were his second family. I will keep you all close in thoughts and prayers over the coming days and I hope fond and loving memories help ease your sadness.

I have spent many pleasant hours with Charles over the past ten years sharing concerts, museums, movies, lunches and dinners, with conversations about our families and our separate lives. I will cherish the memory of his friendship. My thoughts are with you, his family, in this time of sadness. I am sad too.
