My heartfelt sympathy to Cathy and all of Jacqui's family. As a neighbor in Bernal Heights I often saw Jacqui coming and going up and down our small hill, and at St. Kevins. She had so much beauty and grace, and I know she will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

For so many years, Jacquie made me smile every time we passed by each other. Which means that all that time - almost every weekday for almost a decade (for we were work colleagues), I was blessed by her kindness and sense of humor. I have missed her and will miss her and wish blessings for her family and friends.

My prayers are with Jackie's family and all who love and now mourn her death. I was lucky enough to be on the faculty of "Pres" while she was there. I have fond memories of Jackie and her classmates.

To Jacquie's Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I had Jacquie in a few library classes at SF City College, and we both worked together at USF and were in library school at the same time. Her sharp humour kept me very entertained at work; and I know the students at USF loved her.

My condolences to your family. I didn't know Jacquie, but I am a new student at SJSU library school who has recently finished cancer treatment, and I am only two years older than Jacquie. My heart went out to you when I read the notice. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her.

Our condolences to Catherine and family at this very difficult time. Catherine is a beautiful soul and although I never met Jacqueline, I can only imagine her beauty and talents would measure those of her sister.

It was an honor and pleasure working with Jacquie at USF. She was a fascinating, funny, generous, multifaceted person of many gifts and talents. Her strength and spirit are inspirational. We shared a taste for British mysteries and dark chocolate.

My sincere condolences to her family.

We who knew Jacquie, knew that despite her sometimes demure presentation, Jacquie was passionate about food, books and the creative arts. They were always done with mastery as only she could do them. Even when she was very ill, she came to work with a sense of purpose, that ever present dry wit and above all, this quiet but remarkable sense of dignity. She will be greatly missed by all who worked with her and by those that loved her.

I met Jacquie when she took a library class of mine at San Jose State University. I also knew her through my partner Penny who worked with her at USF. She had a very special quality about her. When our cat died suddenly she sent us a very beautiful card, and in class she very quietly told me that she was sorry for my loss. It meant more than she might have known and showed me even in a short time of knowing her what a great heart she had, and what a quiet dignity she possessed. My sympathy and condolences to her family.

She was such a wonderful, caring, creative, funny person and I cared about her very much. It was a pleasure working with her and knowing her, and I share all of your grief at losing her. I wish you all peace and comfort as you grieve for Jacquie.

With caring sympathy,

Penny Scott, USF
