Hilda Ida-Gladys Bishop

1947 - 2009

Mrs. Hilda Bishop, age 62, of Freeport, Fla., passed away Sept. 14, 2009. She was born June 21, 1947 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Maxilim and Marcos Reynosa Donis.
Mrs. Bishop was Pentecostal by faith and a member of New Beginnings Church in Freeport, Fla. She was very devoted to her church and she enjoyed serving the Lord. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Bishop; and one sister-in-law, Betty Williams.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her three daughters, Carrie Cuchens and husband Ross of Louisiana, Chisme Avery and husband Bill and Kimberly Bishop both of Freeport; three brothers, Carlos Donis, Rolando Donis and Eligio Alverez; one sister, Georgina Bishop of Freeport; six grandchildren, Leslie Cuchens, Bryan Cuchens, Corey Cuchens, Niki Bishop, Amanda Turner and Brandi Turner.
A time of visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at New Beginnings Church at 1564 State Highway 20 W., Freeport, FL 32439.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at New Beginnings Church, with Rev. Louis Taunton officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Bishop, Sidney Bishop, Bubba Thorn, Hilton White, Chad Bishop and Brandon Bishop.
Burial will follow in the Hatcher Cemetery.
