Madie Abbott Obituary
Madie Pearl Abbott, 97, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.M. "Skeeter" Abbott; sister, Sue Durham and brother, Jack Roberts. She is survived by her sons, Ross Abbott, Bob Abbott and wife, Bobbie Jo; grandson, Kris Abbott; and great grandson, Jax Abbott.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 5-9pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10am at Forest Park Lawndale's Family Chapel.

Wow, Madie looked like a fun person!
I should have contacted her years ago.
I am in Houston, doing the family tree, and still searching for the Abbott before Ben F. Abbott.
I am on Find a Grave, and have asked to take care of her memorial. If you wish to contact me, please do.
I am the granddaughter of Ralph W. Abbott, eldest living son of Silas A. Abbott and Mattie Layne.
You all were so lucky to have her in your lives.

Bob & Ross Morgan, my fondest memories of the Todd family always include, Madie,Sue,Sis,Marie, Aunt Eula , Aunt Ola , Aunt Reg and Villa.The fun at family reunions, and the love everyone showed to us.
I was always amazed at yur mom and her vitality and I didnot know that she was named Pearl after Frank's mother. My love to all of you at this time.The Taft Bunch. Wee will relate this to R. B. Patsy McNamee

Madie was an incredible lady with a wonderful sense of humor. She always had a smile on her face and a postitive outlook on life. Madie was a blessing to my mother and me and we loved her dearly.

Bob, thanks so much for the phone call about Madie. We grew up from little children loving your mom and Sue so much. Daddy had a very place in his heart for your mama, and so do we.
