Dear all of you !
Some words from your Norwegian family. It is hard to lose one of our loved ones. For me Solveig and Jan it is strange too. He has been there all our lives. A very special uncle. As we have told you before, when he came home to Fredrikstad after the war, with his suitcases full of things from America, things we had never tasted or seen. For my sister and me he was a combination of Santa Claus and the good Lord himself! After five years of german occupation, we had almost nothing. Well, we never starved. I think he went on sailig to 1947. So he was a real sailor! I remember the ships name was "Lauritz Swenson". So I wanted to be a sailor too, but my career lasted just three years.
However, we, his sister Amalie (Baja) age 96, and the rest of our family are very gratefull to him!
We will have you all in our thoughts and prayers, specially on monday.

Yours Eva and Johan-Fredrik with families in Norway

I never met Hans, but I am good friends with his grand daughter Courtney and she has expressed to me what a good man he was and how much he will be missed.
I can see her in his eyes. My thoughts are with him and the entire family during this difficult time.

What a wonderful delightful man. Always made you feel comfortable at the Camelot! Such a good friend to my dad and my family over the years. I will always remember our wonderful grooms dinner at the Camelot back in 1979. Mr Skalle gave my husband and I two red glasses from the Camelot when it closed. My husband and I will raise those glasses tonight to one fine man ! Thanks to you Mr. Skalle.... Margaret Neidigh Stewart

Many fond memories of growing up at Interlachen and special occasions at Camelot. Mom and dad (Marion and Ward) were always so fond of Hans. Prayers for comfort and strength for the family. Peace and blessings.
