family members: almost 50 years ago your father arranged for me to work as a plumbers apprentice for a summer job...that paid for a year of college..I'm old now and retired from teaching..I met him as Jim, and he was a friend of my father, Rudy. I'm sorry for your loss..they were both fine men..

Today we attended a wonderful service to honor my Uncle Jim. He was a great man and will be missed by many. Special thanks to my favorite cousins Mary, Peter, Carol (and Rita), Amy (and Craig). You hosted a wonderful party to celebrate his life.

Sorry to see this in the paper of one of our former neighbors. Jim and Corrine were just that great neighbors along with there 4 kids. We have fond memories of all of them, including there dog. Jim, May you rest in peace, and may the 4 of you and your families find comfort in the days ahead.

Jim was a dedicated trade unionist, a good man and a friend. His advice and council were instrumental in helping pass labor legislation to benefit Minnesota's working men and women.

He had many great names, Jimbo, Big Jim, Brother Jim, to name a few, but he was always Uncle Jim to me. A great man, whom I will miss.
