Michael Taylor Obituary
Michael Lynn Taylor went home to be with our Lord Thursday, January 17, 2013. Michael bravely battled cancer for four years before succumbing to the disease. Michael was born in Uvalde, Texas on May 4, 1940. He graduated from Edison High School in San Antonio, and received his Bachelor's Degree from Trinity University. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Houston where he began his 40 year career in hospital Human Resources. He retired from Methodist Health Care in 2011. Michael is survived by his wife, Annette; son, Darryl Scott Taylor and wife, Laurie; daughter, Lisa Schmitt Simmons and husband, Kenny; son, Stacey Brent Taylor; brother, Larry Taylor; and grandchildren, Taylor Schmitt, Katie Taylor, Zachery Schmitt and Jenna Taylor.

I will miss his smiling face and sense of humor at Methodist. He always brought a bright spot in my day. My prayers are with his family, who he loved very much. We will see him again!

Our loss is heaven's gain. I will be forever grateful for having the pleasure of knowing Michael and singing with him. Can't wait to see him in his perfect body where we can forever sing together our praises to God who makes that possible through the death and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
