Ronald E. Fink

Fink, Ronald E. CHESTERTOWN- Ronald E. Fink, of Chestertown, N.Y., died on February 5, 2013 at the age of 81. Mr. Fink, born in Tyrone, Pa., was the son of J. Leslie and Eva Goss Fink. In December 1966 he married Marilyn L. White in Sharon, Pa.. He was an Army veteran. After employment in manufacturing industries, he served as a member of the faculty and administrative staff of the State University of New York until his retirement. Mr. Fink is survived by Marilyn and their two children, Anne C. Fink Mercer and her husband, Steve, and their daughter, Haylee, of Stillwater, N.Y. and William T. Fink and his wife, Amy, and their two children, Abby and Evan, of Castleton, N.Y. He is also survived by a sister Miriam Clark, of Texas. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers and a sister. At his request, calling hours will be private at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, N.Y. Services, with military honors, will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Stillwater, under the direction of Reverend Roger Krutz.
