Derek "David" FULLARTON

FULLARTON Derek (David) died peacefully on 15th September 2018, aged 66. Born in Barrhead, Renfrewshire, after graduating from Glasgow University, Derek moved south to become PA to the Secretary General of the Church of England Synod, thereafter holding senior posts at the Church Commissioners and under successive Archbishops of Canterbury. Retiring in 2013, he continued in various charitable roles. Derek was the dearly loved son of the late Willie and Ebeth Fullarton, a much-loved brother to Brian, Brenda and Shirley and a very special uncle to their children and grandchildren. The family would like to record their gratitude to the staff of Kings College Hospital, London, for their devoted care of Derek. Interment at Neilston Cemetery, Barrhead, on Wednesday 10th October. Service of remembrance at St Mary's Parish Church, Hayes, Kent, BR2 7LH, on Tuesday 16th October, at 2pm, to which friends are respectfully invited.
