Fionna Annabel Eden-Bushell

EDEN-BUSHELL Fionna Annabel (née Carothers) died peacefully on 23rd April 2018, Her three daughters, Annabel Lakis, lona Eden Siemer and Lucetta Eden-Grout, and husband of 52 years, A Mark Eden-Bushell were at her side. Fionna was an only child, born in London on 1st September 1940, to Terence and Annabel Carothers. Her father Lieutenant Terence Brittan Carothers, Royal Marines, was killed in WW11 Fionna attended The Francis Holland School followed by Cheltenham Ladies College. Fionna and Mark married on 25th September 1965. In 1976 they moved from London to Glasgow. Fionna enjoyed many successful endeavors during her life, as a fashion model, working in London and Dublin, her book, 'A Grass Bank Beyond' was published in 2014, and she loved her work as a Blue Badge Scottish Tourist Guide for two decades. Fionna's three daughters settled in the United States and she visited many times over the years. She was always enthusiastic to do whatever was going on and absolutely doted on all nine of her grandchildren, Katrina, Natalija, Sasha, Charlie and Rory Lakis, Calum and Mairead Siemer, and Angus and Maggie Grout. All of whom loved their Granny. Fionna was also very fond of her three son-in-laws, Guntars Lakis, Jason Siemer and Jimmy Grout. She often said how happy it made her that each of her daughters had married such good men. Fionna's daughters spread her ashes at her family's private burial ground on the Island of Mull.
