Brenda DENNEY Obituary

DENNEY, Brenda Johnson 62, of Springfield, passed away into eternal life on Sunday morning, July 19, 2020. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on November 12, 1957, the daughter of the late Russell and Faye (Salyers) Johnson. Brenda worked as an office manager/facility security officer for WBB, Inc., Beavercreek. She attended Restoration Park Church. Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, James E. Denney; two sons, James Russell Denney and Joel (Liza) Denney; grandchildren, Clover and Lincoln Denney; brothers and sisters, Barbara (Larry) Russell, Dale Johnson, Duane Johnson, David Johnson, Doug (Kathy) Johnson, Billie (Brian) Kennedy, Bonnie Albert, and Betti (Rick) Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Brenda found strength and comfort through prayer and God's word. She remained steadfast and sought to be a witness for Christ to those she met along the way of her journey. As Brenda was confident of her destination at the conclusion of her life here on earth, we too can take comfort in knowing her pain and suffering is now over. Saddened by her passing we will miss her greatly, but we also know that the same hope of eternal life through Christ Jesus awaits us and we will join her yet again someday in heaven. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Restoration Park Church, 55 Restoration Park Dr., Medway, OH 45341, with Pastor Randy Warner presiding. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service as well as following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (lls.org) The LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. Jim, Russell, Joel -- I am so sad to hear of Brenda's passing. I have fond memories of her from Hillside, from scrapbooking, from being co-workers at Vicki's. I will always think of her and smile when I see flamingos!
May God bless you with comfort and peace until you all meet again!
