I’m sure those that knew Mom she was well known for her cooking and baking. Her Texas sheet cakes were to die for. Two of my favorites on the foods was her chicken bow tie pasta salad and ham and red eye gravy. Nobody has ever duplicated her gravy....and in her final days here on earth she said “I won’t get no rest as soon as I arrive in Heaven. Jesus will welcome me at His gates then turn me around and point to the kitchen and tell me to get busy (as she laughed).”
