As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Chad and Lynda was one of the first couples in the '90s to start renovating their newly purchased home in the Wrighr-Dunbar Neighborhood. Chad was the ultimate Neighborhood Watch Person. He loved his Neighborhood and his Neighbors. My Condolences to Lynda, Gabby and Collins

Chad is a mighty man of God who transcended the bounds of the 18 year long physical captivity of ALS to love, honor, and to give of himself to every person who crossed his path. He prayed without ceasing, In his humility and trust in God he never complained. We witnessed his devotion to his mother Sherry, his entire family, and especially to Lynda, Collin and Gabrielle. Chad was always faithful to actively fulfill his Christ-centered leadership responsibilities in his home. He taught us to never hold a grudge and to cherish every relationship in order to allow God an opportunity to act. He showed us that we have absolutely nothing to ever complain about. Chad listened to everything we said. We used to tell him that he could tell us what he really thought when we are together in heaven. We will miss him for a short time until we are re-united with him in heaven, if we can catch him running around on God's errands or driving on the gold paved roads in his orange Shelby GT 350. What a man and friend forever is Chad. What a privilege to know him! Thank you Lynda for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy a friendship with this most wonderful man.

Chad was a very special man. He was one of the most genuine guys I have ever known. A true friend that cared about others before himself. A gifted spiritual leader that challenged and encouraged, but always was easy to relate to and talk with. Chad was fun loving, positive, creative and gifted. Always with a smile and always engaging. He loved Linda and the kids dearly and cherished the gift he had been given in a such a beautiful family. We were in a men’s bible study that Chad hosted and I really enjoyed those times of fellowship and connection. Chad and Linda were true Christians and true friends. We were all devastated when Chad was diagnosed with ALS and as his illness progressed it became increasingly difficult to communicate, but Chad seemed to be saying through his eyes, “it’s ok, don’t feel bad for me” and amazingly I think that was what was truly in his heart. His faith was real and he was thankful for the blessings of family, friends, and the love and grace of God to make it through each day. Now Chad is whole, healed, and free and will soon be reunited with family and friends that can’t wait to see him smiling and laughing again. We are so saddened over Chad’s passing but we are so happy for Chad that he is finally well and will be for all eternity. From the entire Steele family, Love and continued prayers for Linda, Collin, Gabby and the whole family.
