STETSON GREEN Obituary
"Stet"
Age 75, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away, Wednesday, October 28, 2020. He was
born in Miamisburg, OH, on November 19, 1944, to the late Etiva (Kindred) and Russell L. Green. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; and retired from General Motors ~ Harrison Radiator Division after 32 years of service. Stetson was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell "Allen" Green; and 2 sisters, Wanda & Donna Green. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn S. (Smith) Green; his son, Brent (Jennifer) Green; his daughter, Amanda (Nathan) Anderson; 7 grandchildren, Brittany, Emma, Troy & Tanner Green, and Nyles, Khloe, and Lily Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Kinsley McDaniel; his brother, Dr. Rev. Roger D. (Brenda) Green; 3 sisters Elaine Turner, Ann (Robert) Planck, Vivien (Jim) Carberry; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 12 - 2 p.m. (2 hours prior the Service), Monday, November 2, 2020, at Towne Blvd. Church of God, 3722 Towne Blvd, Middletown, OH, where the Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Mark Jackson, officiating. Burial will be at Twin Valley Cemetery, Gratis, OH. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown, OH, serving the family. Please share condolences at daltonfh.net.

Our hearts are broken to hear of Stetson's passing. He was such a dedicated and hardworking man of God. We enjoyed our many long conversations while doing yard work as his neighbor. He loved to talk about his grandchildren and often took the time to teach our children something as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Green family during this time.

Lived across the street from the Greens. I lived with my grandparents Nellie and Tandy Roach. My memories as a girl was him riding his cycle and always happy. So sorry for the family's loss.

I met Stetson in 1968 at GM. He was a great co-worker and a good friend. We always got along because we had a lot of common interests. Rest in peace Stetson, a truly good friend.

Carol, Amanda, Brent & to the rest of the family. Ray & I were so sorry to hear of your great loss. Your loss is Heaven's gain. Stetson was such a great humble man. We so enjoyed the times over the years that we were able to chat with him at different church functions etc. One things for sure he is feeling no more pain but is rejoicing with all the loved ones & friends who now reside in Heaven. Please know we are holding all of you close in our thoughts & prayers. We too will make our final journey some day. Until that day The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26, God bless. Carolyn and family, I too was so saddened to hear about Stetson leaving but we do know our loss here on earth is Heaven's gain for certain. Carolyn, you and Stetson were there for me when I needed you most going to Columbus that evening in 2007 and I will never forget. I pray for you all the comfort our Lord can give.....Love, Mary Hall

Stet was a very close neighber of mine as well as his whole family. We where all raised up and went to school together. He looked after His brother ,Rodger and me. Especially on the school bus.Went to sunday school with his family.worked for his dad on there farm.His dad,Russal Green got me my 1st good job after I returned from the Navy. Lots of fond memories. prayers to his family,God Bless!

Stetson was a dear friend in high school. He was humble, kind, generous, and fun to be with! He loved playing football and I loved watching him play.
